Elixir Imperial
Fall – Winter 2019/20 Collection
Inspired by the imperial gardens of Japan and their heady delicacy, the Fall-Winter 2019/2019 couture collection will transport you elegantly and serenely through embroidery and prints symbolising the Japanese art of floral design.
With a true appreciation for Japanese flowers and their powerful symbolism, Georges Makaroun has imagined his own imperial garden, mixing flora and fauna to create a collection subtly suggesting reflections on the emotional and spiritual teachings of nature.
Audacious and calming, a diverse collection bursting with colour
Georges Makaroun pays tribute to the privileged place of flowers and their contemplation in this collection of twenty expressive and timeless silhouettes.
In the House of Couture’s tradition of design and craftsmanship, each dress is made using a couture corset as a base, shaping and enhancing the female silhouette. He proposes sumptuous pieces embroidered and meticulously bejewelled by hand in the house’s ateliers using the finest Italian fabrics.
While the majority of dresses in the collection are rich in embroidery, some have a more minimalist style, focusing on prints abounding in colour.
The collection is composed of the Georges Makaroun signature, the couture dress, but also features Smoking suits.
